Kristina and Max’s intimate wedding was simple perfection. The hotel was theirs to use, the rooftop, the lobby, the courtyard. The Palihouse, West Hollywood, is beautifully curated, so the couple didn’t have to add much to create a detailed and cohesive backdrop for their big day.
The chuppah had a gentle cascade of garden inspired botanicals and blooms. The birch wood chuppah was rented from Blue Fish Event Rentals, owner, Chris, is easy and a joy to work with, I would suggest them to anyone looking for a chuppah or arch.
Kristina required a simple bouquet that was easy to hold and didn’t distract from her effortless, sheath dress. A small bouquet with a clean palette, a couple big blooms, cafe au lait dahlia and Juliet garden roses, and a few delicate details including veronica, blushing bride protea and blueberries, seemed to be the answer.
Their tablescapes were a mix of live herbs and lush, garden-like centerpieces. “The reception arrangements made our outdoor dinner feel like a midsummer night's eve” said Kristina.
While their ceremony was on the rooftop, with sweeping views of West Hollywood, their reception was in the intimate courtyard, the perfect gathering spot for a small group of friends and family.
Photographer Amy Gray, a close friend, is the loveliest to work with and captures the true joy of every event.
